Who operates the site

What account data may be stored
If you choose to sign in, the site may store basic account details returned by the authentication provider, account preferences, owner-verification workflow information, saved searches, and audit records needed to run secure account features.
External sign-in provider data
Where a user signs in with an external provider such as Google, Facebook, Apple or Microsoft, PointCompass may store provider account identifiers, verified email address, display name, profile image and profile link where supplied by that provider. This information is used for authentication, account linking, profile management, owner verification support and account security.
What planning data may be stored
Uploaded point charts, occupancy files, room-linked content, brand assets, banners, occupancy files and release zips, are stored on the server for site operation. Planning calculations entered by public visitors are processed to produce a result and application logs may record limited technical request details for stability and audit purposes.
Advertising and analytics position
Non-essential advertising cookies and third-party analytics are not active as part of this foundation release. If they are introduced later, this policy and the cookie notice should be updated before those tools are enabled.
Data Deletion
Users can request deletion of their PointCompass account data from within their account area where account deletion is available, or by contacting the site owner. When an account is deleted, PointCompass removes or anonymises account data subject to security, audit, and legal retention requirements.
