Resorts and chart years
Profile
Every registered user must complete their legal identity, contact, and address details here. These details may later be used for contracts, rental agreements, and related booking processes.
Previous address and telephone details
This private history shows earlier address and telephone details captured when your registered contact record changes. It is visible only to you while signed in.
Change Address / Email / Phone
Update your registered contact details here. Your Google sign-in email cannot be changed from this screen.
Travelling Party
Keep your usual travelling party here as separate reusable records. Each traveller can hold full contact and address details for later contract and booking workflows, even when they do not live with the registered user.
Add Traveller
Use the same-as-registered-user toggles when appropriate, or untick them to keep the traveller as a fully self-contained record.
Owner
Keep ownership application details together here: owner flag, names, Use Year, banking context, home resorts, owner notes, and evidence.
Owner Contract and Points Manager
Point Contracts
Contracts listed here come from your approved Home Resorts. If you need another Home Resort, submit a Change Info request first. Use Year is locked here and follows your approved owner details. Enter the annual total and Year 1 / Year 2 actuals where needed. Later years follow the annual total automatically at this stage.

Request ownership changes
Once approved, identity, use year, proof and home-resort details are locked to preserve history. Stage any proposed verification changes here, then send them to Admin for approval.
Owner availability preview
This stays simple for now. A full contract, payment and reminder workflow belongs in a later dedicated release.
Enable owner mode to generate a simple owner summary preview.
Payments
Manage owner-level payment rules here. Enabled payment setup rows become the only payment options available when creating or editing rental bookings.
Payment Ledger
Record inbound payments with gross, fee and net values, then allocate available net funds to owner bookings when ready.
Filter the dashboard rings and payment list by payment received date.
Record Payment
Capture the money received first. Allocate it to one or more matching bookings afterwards.
Click a row to view details, correct an unallocated entry, or allocate remaining funds to a matching booking.

Rental workspace
Owners can now work with either external renter profiles or DVC Point Compass users who must review and release their booking details back through a consent step before the owner can use them.
Registered DVC Point Compass Renters
Before you can setup a rental booking for an existing DVC Point Compass user, you will need to send them a request to release their details to you. Use this screen to search for any active registered user, then send a request. The user must update all required details and release them back before you can use them in a booking.
Existing requests
External Renters
External renters are people you are renting to who are not DVC Point Compass users. Create a profile for them here — it will be used to populate their rental contract.

Point Allocation
Allocate the booking points to one or more owner contracts and Use Year buckets. The total allocation must equal the booking points required.
Payment entries
Payment entries are optional. Save the booking first if you just want to log the reservation, then add payments when they actually happen.
Bookings - Renter
Bookings created for you by an owner will appear here, with the latest rental agreement where one has been issued.
My Renter Profile
Save your own renter booking details here so they are ready when an owner requests them. Extra travellers must be added in Travelling Party first, then selected here.
Choose Who Is Travelling
Click cards to include or remove travellers from this point-in-time renter release. The lead traveller is traveller #1 and must be 18 or over.
Release Details To An Owner
Search for an approved owner and send your saved renter profile to them without waiting for a request. Save your renter profile first so the owner receives the latest traveller snapshot.
Owner Requests for Rental Party Information
Ensure you save your renter profile before you release details. Review the selected travellers here, then send the saved snapshot to the owner.
Saved searches
Save a completed calculation, then reload it here later. Signed-in users will see account-aware empty-state guidance instead of sign-in prompts once the account already exists.
Saved-search limit reached
You can keep up to 10 saved searches. Replace the oldest search automatically or choose one or more searches to remove before saving this new one.
Restricted account access
Your account is currently unavailable for normal sign-in. Use this page to check the current status or request restoration.
Archive account
In order to maintain a history of your rental activity, your complete history will be kept for 12 months after you request to archive your account.
Confirm account archive
This action signs you out and disables your account from future sign-in until an admin restores it. To continue, confirm that you understand what archiving does and then type ARCHIVE to unlock the final button.
Help & planning notes
1. Calculate with official charts
Select a resort, room type, view, dates and party size. The calculator checks each night against the uploaded official chart year and travel period.
2. Validate occupancy
If occupancy rules have been loaded, the app checks whether the selected party fits the room you picked.
3. Download supporting PDFs
Where available, you can download the related point chart and any tax chart directly from resort listings, results and finder views.
4. Review taxes carefully
Some stays may have local transient occupancy or accommodations tax. Where a related tax chart has been uploaded, the result will show the tax detail separately and make clear that it is payable locally.
5. Use Deal Finder as a guide
Deal Finder shows chart-based lower-point alternatives for comparable room classes. It does not check live availability and does not guarantee a booking can be made.
6. Generate an ISO post
After a calculation, use the ISO generator to create a copyable DVCRentalGroup post and mark which parts of the request are flexible.
Legal & disclaimer foundation
Independent service
points.dvc.it.com and DVC IT are independent and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Walt Disney Company, Disney Vacation Club, Disney Destinations, or any of their affiliates.
Planning use only
This tool is for planning and reference only. It does not provide live availability, does not make bookings, and should not replace official Disney Vacation Club documentation or booking channels.
Source and calculation limits
Point charts, tax figures and related reference material are based on uploaded or publicly sourced information and may contain upstream errors, omissions, or later changes. Errors and omissions excepted.
Tax and availability
Any tax shown is an estimate or chart-based reference only and, where applicable, remains payable locally unless the booking source states otherwise. Availability is not checked live and is never guaranteed.
Usage
Home-user reference use only. Content and calculations must not be reproduced, republished, or used for corporate or commercial redistribution without permission.

Privacy, cookies & AdSense readiness foundation
Privacy policy ready
A public Privacy Policy page is now in place to explain essential admin session use, uploaded site data and the current non-advertising baseline.
Cookie notice foundation
A public Cookie Notice page and a lightweight site notice are now present so the site has a clearer basis before any optional analytics or advertising tools are enabled.
Disclaimer page
The new Disclaimer page groups the planning, source-material and Disney non-affiliation notices in one place for easier reference.
ads.txt placeholder
An ads.txt placeholder file is now served so authorised seller lines can be added later when advertising is genuinely ready to go live.
Admin
A clearer admin workspace. Global navigation stays in the app chrome; admin sections live here in a calmer, review-friendly shell.
Reference Data Inventory
Managed Points Snapshot
Items Requiring Review
Settings
Global operational settings that should not be buried inside feature-specific editors.
Server Timezone
The server stores timestamps in UTC. This setting defines the admin/server display baseline; signed-in users can choose their own account timezone in Profile.
Data & Content
Shared chart data, official PDFs, imports, and the JSON recovery editor live here.
Occupancy CSV
Required columns: Resort, RoomType, MaxGuests, MaxInfantsUnder3. Optional: View, Notes, Active.
Chart JSON
Use this for structured imports, backups or manual recovery.
Official PDF imports
Upload one or more official PDFs. Valid point charts merge into the shared data. Tax-only sheets are skipped with a clear message.
Brand Assets
Manage your logo, favicon, and downloadable watermark appearance here.
Brand identity and watermark
Upload your own logo and favicon for the public site. The preview boxes show the intended display shape and safe area, and new uploads replace the current custom asset for that slot only.
Wide logo guidance
Best result: 1200 × 300 px or another clean 4:1 layout. PNG or SVG usually works best. Keep important artwork centred and avoid pushing text or marks hard against the left and right edges.
Favicon guidance
Best result: 512 × 512 px square source. Use a simple high-contrast icon, monogram, or symbol. Avoid fine text because favicons are shown very small in browser tabs and bookmarks.
Accepted files
Logo: JPG, PNG, WEBP, or SVG. Favicon: JPG, PNG, WEBP, SVG, or ICO. Transparent PNG or SVG is usually the cleanest choice for logos.
Upload behaviour
Uploading a logo does not clear the favicon, and uploading a favicon does not clear the logo. If no custom asset is uploaded, the site continues to use the default built-in branding.
Recommended wide logo: 1200 × 300 px or another clean 4:1 ratio. PNG or SVG works best. Transparency is ideal where possible. This upload replaces the current custom logo only.
Recommended favicon: 512 × 512 px square source. PNG, SVG or ICO works best. Use simple high-contrast artwork and avoid tiny text. This upload replaces the current custom favicon only.
Watermark settings
Fine-tune the burned-in watermark used for downloadable chart PDFs and floor plans. You can keep the text watermark, adjust the hex colour and opacity, or upload a transparent PNG to use instead.
This is the main line burned into downloadable assets. It starts with your current default text.
Use this for the website, brand secondary line, or leave the default in place.
Use a standard 6-digit hex value such as #5A5A5A.
Lower values are more subtle. Higher values are more visible and harder to ignore.
Upload a transparent PNG if you want to use your own watermark mark instead of the default text. The opacity slider still applies.
Language and copy editor
Search, edit and save live copy overrides without touching the release package. Backend keys drive policy pages, meta payloads and server responses. Frontend keys drive browser-side labels and notices.
| Key | Default | Current value | Status | Action |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Language overrides will appear here after admin load. | ||||
Advertising
Manage the current local banner ad unit here. This section is also where future AdSense and other advertising controls will live.
Local banner ad
Upload one premium banner image for the public site. Recommended: 1600×320 JPG or PNG. This is the local banner ad slot; future AdSense controls will also live in this section.
JSON editor
Resort Images
Upload the resort photos used on Booking Confirmation, owner rental booking cards and renter booking views. This is the place for Aulani, Grand Floridian, Riviera and other resort hero images.
Upload Resort Images
Choose a resort, upload a PNG, JPG or WEBP image, and PointCompass will use it on booking confirmation and rental booking cards. Uploaded resort images are stored as runtime assets so normal deployments do not wipe them.
Friendly Resort Names
Keep the official chart resort names for calculation matching, but optionally show a shorter friendly name in calculator dropdowns and public results. Leave a friendly name blank to use the official name.
ISO Templates
Upload and map the blank resort ISO images used by registered users when creating Facebook ISO posts. Templates are stored as runtime assets and are keyed to the same resort names used elsewhere.
Manage ISO Templates
Upload one selected resort template, or bulk upload multiple templates with resort names in the filenames. Use the visual placement editor to drag Dates, Nights, Points, Room, Guests, View and Booking Window into position on the blank template. The JSON remains available for precise tuning.
Drag the labelled boxes in the preview above, then save. Use the JSON only for fine adjustment.
Room Extras
Manage room-linked content that renters see for each room type, including floor plans, virtual tours and amenities. Resort photos now live in the separate Resort Images section above.
Room extras management
Manage the room-linked extras that appear against the selected resort and room type. Floor plans are uploaded for the currently selected resort. Virtual Tours and Room Amenities CSV uploads are treated as all-resorts datasets, then reviewed and mapped here by resort and room type.
Uploaded floor plans
Upload one or more files for the selected resort. You can reuse one plan across more than one room type, and one room type can hold multiple plans.
Uploaded virtual tours
CSV required columns: resort, room, tour_label, virtual_tour_url. Optional: room_display, source_type, source_page. Upload the full all-resorts file; this replaces the virtual-tour dataset and remaps by room hint.
Uploaded room amenities
CSV required columns: resort, room, amenities_joined. Separate amenities with a vertical bar: |. Upload the full all-resorts file; this replaces the amenities dataset and remaps by room hint.
Assign room extras to room types
| Room type | Floor plans | Virtual tours | Room amenities |
|---|---|---|---|
| Select a resort to begin mapping room extras. | |||
Include / Skip Detected Amenities
Review the amenities detected from the uploaded CSV and untick anything that should not appear publicly, such as bed configuration, view wording, occupancy notes or scrape artefacts.
Detailed View Information
Use this to add richer public copy for the selected resort, room type and view. If no custom copy is saved, the public Room Information popup uses the existing view name.
Planning & layout
Set guide pricing context and control the shared result-page layout from one grouped planning area.
Planning Cost Tier Values
Set the editable dollar values used by the public calculator. The public calculator chooses the correct tier automatically from resort and booking lead time.
Per-Resort Guide Ranges
These legacy resort guide rows are retained for compatibility. The public suggested price now primarily uses the tier values above and the booking lead time.

Rental Payment Methods
Define the exact payment methods and logos that owners can offer on rental bookings and contracts.
Rental Payment Methods
Control the payment methods shown in Owner Payments, booking payment selection and generated contracts. Enter one method per line. The name here is the source of truth and will appear exactly the same to owners and renters. Include Other if you want owners to capture a free-text alternative.
For the smallest files, upload an optimised transparent WebP at exactly 512 × 224 px. Exact-size WebP files are preserved without reprocessing; other raster files are normalised into the standard frame. Keep the artwork centred inside the 420 × 180 px safe area, strip metadata, and ignore DPI.
Payment Oversight
Compact read-only admin view of gross payments, fees, credited amounts, refunds, reversals and remaining unallocated net balances. Full record detail opens in the drawer.
Choose Tiles, Density And Page Size
Selections are stored in this browser and do not affect payment data or ledger calculations.
Rental Oversight

Updates
Upload a release zip. The app validates the archive, stages it safely, always captures the current live version as an immediate Known Working rollback point, and can optionally mark the incumbent live code as the long-term Known Good baseline.
dev.points.dvc.it.com, then promote the tested Dev package to Live. Use direct live deployment only as an emergency/manual route.Dev Candidate
Deploy a release package to dev.points.dvc.it.com. Dev uses its own service, logs, data directory and cookie names.
Live Promotion
Promote the exact tested Dev package and checksum to Live. By default this copies code only. Tick the asset option only when approved Dev graphics/content assets should also replace Live equivalents.
This does not copy accounts, owner evidence, saved searches, bookings, contracts, profiles or audit logs.
Emergency Direct Live Deployment
This is retained for recovery compatibility. Normal releases should go through Dev first.
Debug logging
Enable targeted debug logging only when needed. The dedicated debug log rotates at 10MB per file so it stays bounded and easier to send back for diagnosis.
Logs
Download the parser and calculation log if you need to send it back for diagnosis.
Crawl controls
Control sitemap.xml and robots.txt from Admin so public indexing stays intentional and predictable.
Email deliverability
Review the outbound email sender, transport and reply handling used for result emails. DNS records such as SPF, DKIM and DMARC still need to be managed at the domain level.
